Type XD

The new Type XD increases productivity by measuring the size and position of an object with the highest accuracy in the industry at 0.040 in. (1 mm) and at a scan rate of 1,200 scans per second. This model reduces machinery downtime through its simple snap-in bracket, allowing replacement of the scanner in 5 seconds. The information transmitted on the serial port can be done in two different modes of operation: scanning mode or monitor mode. In total, there are five scanning modes. The XD models operate with a margin of misalignment of +/-10° between the transmitter and the receiver in both the horizontal and vertical plane. These devices are completely waterproof. The XD model is available with a precision of 0.040 in. (1 mm), 0.125 in. (3 mm), 0.250 in.(6 mm), 0.500 in. (12 mm) and 1 in. (24 mm), making it a device suitable for many scanning applications at an affordable price.
