The Type BBS detects and measures an object using a laser point and camera. The distance is measured between the module and the object when it is placed inside the measurement area. The BBS4 model measures with a resolution of 0.001 to 0.005 in. (0.025 to 0.130 mm) depending on the distance to the object from the scanner. The best accuracy is obtained at the beginning of the field of view at 6 in. (150 mm). The Type BBS detects and measures with a scan rate up to 300 scans per second. It was created to operate under various temperature conditions between 14°F to 122°F (-10°C to 50°C) without requiring heating or cooling.
